Disobeying any rules will put a mark on your record. Too many marks equals a ban. Three strikes rule.

1. The old Golden Rule. Treat others how you wish to be treated. If you decide to be kind and courteous, you will be treated nicely. Be a total fag, and a douchebag who insults people regularly, and you will get ZERO love from all of us. Repeatedly insulting other people, treating the Admins, Moderators, or, more importantly, MYSELF, like a piece of shit, abusing forum privilages to bully folks, all of that is completely unacceptable.

Example:

A: Debaucher45 is such a fucking toolbag, lolz

Debaucher45: Fuck off, dipshit.

This is unacceptable. If you are being tortured by another, let me know, send me or a moderator a PM. I will answer it and either myself or an admin will take the action necessary. Do not return fire at trolls, they live for that. I am not afraid of letting the Banhammer fall on a douchebag! But then again, being a mushy gushy sentimentalist repeatedly to another person, to a suspect degree, is not cool either. Just not acceptable. Lastly, do not criticize spelling or grammar. REALLY. I cannot stress this enough.

NOBODY GIVES A FUCK IF YOU SPELT SOMETHING WRONG

And anybody who claims to is just being a massive troll. I do not hate Grammar Nazis. I just think they have no place on forums. Same as nonsense posts. UNWANTED.

2. SPAM

Who in their right minds would ever put up with some moron clogging up two pages with nothing but stupid, trivial bile? Forums are a social hub, not a soapbox to rant and rave from. Spammers and SUPER-OBVIOUS TROLLS will be dealt with, very harshly. This is really very simple and deserves no further elaboration. After several warnings, you get banned for a few weeks. I hote I will never have to perma-ban someone for spamming, but it could happen.

3. Flag Abuse

Flagging posts is good for reporting and attempting to bury rude, vicious remarks, and in that situation, I very much endorse. If someone is being a dick, please flag them. But what I DO NOT want to see is somebody with seriously painful butthurt flagging an honest person's posts, because he's a mad, jelly little loser. Flag Abusers will be punished. Worse than spam, very easy to get banned if you abuse the flagging. You are warned now.

4. Requests

I cannot do this on my own. I desperately need to hear what you, the viewers think. Sure, I could go it solo and make a product that is ....meh, at best. But that is not what I aspire to. I aspire to make something that many people will enjoy for a long while. So, that is what the requests group is for. You may go there and make all sorts of requests, ones on how to improve on the most current build of the RPG, or even ones on how the forums or rules should managed to perhaps be better or more efficient.

But, what I do not want to see is the following:

"Ban Tro1337HX Pl0xPl0xPl0xPl0x"

"Make my text jet black plz"

"You suck and need to stop making this"

"Give me money for games"

"PICS NAO"

This does not stir up confidence in the audience I am catering to. If you are going to make a request, ask yourself the following.

a. Is it important, I mean, genuinely important?

b. Has someone already made this request?

c. Does it benefit people other than myself?

d. Is this something that cannot be handled in a private message?

If the answers are in this order, yes, no, yes and yes, then please make a request. OTHERWISE, 

Disclaimer: Insult not intended, I just don't need the stupid, trivial bullshit. And yes, swearing is allowed, if used in good taste.

5. Retard Posts

You probably know what i'm talking about. Random morons who go to a forum and either start a thread topic or post in an existing one, asking questions with painfully obvious answers or just gabbling random bullshit. Like:

"Wat's an RPG" or

"GAHINGERDINGERDURGEN"

These Forums are supposed to be respectable, especially as a fan forum. I do not mind some cheeky humor getting splashed across every now and then. Perhaps on occasion, a bit of random is in order. But to simply blather constant nothingness in my ears is quite grating, and it clogs the forums with useless posts. Very obvious nonsense-posters will get warned three times, then punished.

6. Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure

NO. NOPE. NOPE. NOPE. I won't have any talk about Skylanders or Activision on these Forums. I have already stated my severe dis-satisfaction with them and that elsewhere. If curiosity is worth getting your eardrums blasted out, you can PM me. But I won't have with that talk. Seriously. Don't try me.

7. Private Messages

If you guys need to tell me something, send a PM. But, I do not need to get my inbox assaulted with a plethora of messages, in the offchance that is even possible. If it's a request, it can go in a request forum thread. Most any regular question or comment can go in a general discussion forum thread. You should only need to PM me if it's a serious problem, or if it's something that is critical to the RPG's development and you don't want other people to see it.

8. The Abyss

Don't. Just don't. Really. The description says that it is for old, deprecated, abandoned, and unwanted threads. SO WHY POST THERE? Really! Just don't do it. It's above manking to post in unwanted threads.

9. Play Nice

I expect some form of nice behavior on the forums. Of course, I understand that us humans are an argumentive lot, and inevitably, some arguing will go on. Scuffles, minor tiffs, trolls getting smacked down hard. But what I do not want to see, is massive heated arguments where everyone gets hurt. Keep it courteous. Swear-fests are not allowed, and I will let you know when you have overstepped. I don't want to start locking threads for the safety of the forum, but perhaps I will, if it's going to turn into a battleground. Again, I don't mind dropping the banhammer.

10. Criticism

I have no problem with being criticized on how I run the forums, myself as a person, or how the game development is coming along. However, I do request that it be something CONSTRUCTIVE. Be specific. Why is it less than perfect? What could be changed to make it better? I have a friend helping me on the balance side of things, but I doubt it will be perfect. If you straight-up tell me that it's shit, and refuse to say why, however, you are not going to get a response out of me.

11. Post in the Right Area

The forum is categorized like this for a reason. I don't want to see random discussion in RPG development, nor ANY thread starting in The Abyss. Absolutely not acceptible. If you do, I will warn you and move or delete the topic as needed.

Look, just be reasonable, be fair, and I will return that feeling. Otherwise, I will have to be strict. Hope you enjoy posting in the Forums. Without further a-do, go on, give me confidence in humanity's future....or not xD
